Best LBS in 75 miles radius. Owner replies to emails rapidly; rest of the crew is knowledgeable, kind and efficient. They may not carry all the variety of products like Performance, but they will get you all the right stuff, and explain what and why and how. Great place ! ( and they do service and deal with boats as well... ) so if you bicycle or paddle, that is the place to visit.
I went to the shop this morning because my bicycle had a flat tire. I was prepared to leave my bike. Jamie helped get my bike out of the car, said it would be done in 45 minutes. I was very pleasantly surprised. He quickly fixed the tire and even put the bike back into my car for me. He was kind, efficient and very very nice. This bike shop is the ONLY one for me. if there were 10 stars, I would give them 20. Many thanks, Jamie.
Small little shop has everything you'll need. Kayak and bike rentals too. They are also conveniently open later on Saturday unlike other bike shops in the area
Guide Mike accompanied my group of 5 'mature' women for a beautiful couple of hours of kayaking along ~5 miles of the Potomac River above Shepherdstown. We had been looking forward to it; we had done a similar, slightly longer trip with Mike two years ago; and we were not disappointed. It was wonderful!
Nice place but staff not as well versed as manager. Well stocked for tubes. But accessories seem always in order. Like pumps to hit 110psi.
