Great local hangout. Live music , nice menu with reasonable prices. Excellent British pub.
If your looking for English dining this is not the place. I am british & can confirm this pub does not serve authentic british food. The union Jack in Winchester does a much better job. I also didn't appreciate the looks we received from the proprietor while she was sitting @ the bar & the obvious way she question the server about us after he had finished taking our order. If you want to know about your customers shouldn't ask them yourselves?!
A small pub with good food, good service, and a good feeling. It's the best option for relaxing after a class or in general, or grabbing some great pub food with friends or by yourself.
Delicious French press coffee! Happened upon this little gem while in Shepherdstown to go to the Farmer's Market. Will definitely be returning! Relaxed and dog friendly! Love it!
